Every iLovePdf tool runs locally in your browser using JavaScript. When you drop a file onto a tool, it is read and processed on your own device — it is never uploaded to our servers or any third party. We have no server-side code that receives your files, so there is nothing for us to see, store, or lose.
A small amount of data is kept only in your browser, never sent anywhere:
iLovePdf may show ads served by Google AdSense. Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies (including the DoubleClick cookie) to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. These advertising cookies are only set after you click "Accept" on the cookie banner shown on your first visit — if you click "Reject," no advertising cookies are set and the ad script is never loaded. You can change your choice at any time using the "Cookie preferences" link in the footer.
You can opt out of personalized advertising generally by visiting Google Ads Settings, or view how Google uses data from sites that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
iLovePdf does not currently use any analytics or tracking scripts beyond the advertising cookies described above. Fonts are bundled and self-hosted at build time rather than loaded from a third-party CDN at runtime. If this ever changes, we'll update this page first.
iLovePdf is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect any information from them — in any case, since we don't collect personal data from any user, this applies equally to all ages.
If our practices change — for example, if we introduce optional server-side features or analytics in the future — we will update this page and change the "last updated" date above.
